STATUS: The Core Game

Each round has two phases. In the Player Phase you take turns placing your three Social Tokens on action spaces across the three districts of the board. In the Event Phase, events conclude, everyone who attended collects the reward, and the Time of Day advances from Morning to Afternoon to Evening.

  Events: Host a Personal Event from your hand, or attend up to three Personal and Grand Events at once. Hosts earn a bonus for every guest.

  Market: Acquire Estate Cards and Item Cards, or wipe a market and refill it before taking your pick.

  Estate: Play Estate Cards to place Estate Pieces into the rooms of your house, rearrange pieces, and rearrange the Items you display.

Fully furnished rooms unlock your character's Room Bonuses. Status you earn goes into your Status Pool and buys your way up the 10-space Status Track, and every step up grants an Influence Token to spend on five reusable Influence Powers. Exclusive spots seat one player and Common spots seat everyone, so timing matters.

Winning: The game ends the round a player reaches the final space of the Status Track. Only players who reach it can win, and the one with the most Status left in their pool takes the season.

The Characters

The Visionary, The Opportunist, The Artist, and The Collector. Each has an always-on social ability and a different set of Room Bonuses, so the same house plays differently in every game.

Solo Mode

Play against The Automaton, a rule-driven rival with its own action deck, Threat Tokens, and five Scenario Cards that change the rules and the difficulty. A Sabotage space lets you slow it down if you can meet the category requirement.
